USE THE RED PAINT [k-n-o-w]
It’s easy to mistake getting attention for being right or being admired, especially on social media. (read that again)
In reality, the most valuable personal asset is not needing to impress anyone. When you’re 100 years old on your deathbed, it's unlikely anyone will question the size of your social media following, the grandeur of your home, or even how many artworks you sold.
The real question as you’re sitting on your deathbed with your loved ones around you is: “Did you live without regrets?” You don’t want to be facing your family thinking: “Dammit, I should have used that bright red paint like I always wanted to! Why not Pyrrole Red? And I should have shown those paintings I loved on social media but didn’t think anyone else would like. I should have submitted my artwork to that gallery and I should have applied to that show I always dreamed of getting into. I shouldn’t have worried about judgment from friends and family for what really mattered to me.”
Don't wait until it's too late to make the decisions that truly reflect who you are as an artist.
